How Much Does a Booking Website Cost?

Booking-site pricing depends less on the calendar button than on the workflow around it. These are the decisions that move scope and recurring cost.

A booking website can be a simple page that sends people to your calendar, or it can be a complete workflow with service selection, staff availability, intake, deposits, reminders and follow-up. Those are very different projects.

The price is driven by the decisions around the booking, not by the word "booking" itself. Here's what to ask about before comparing quotes.

The scope questions that change a build

  • How many services are bookable, and do they have different durations or prices?
  • How many staff calendars or resources need to be coordinated?
  • Are there multiple locations, service areas or time zones?
  • Does the customer need to answer intake questions before confirming?
  • Do you need buffers, travel time, memberships or recurring appointments?
  • Is the booking linked to a deposit, full payment or a later invoice?

One service, one calendar and a link-out is a focused job. Multiple rules and exceptions need more planning, configuration and testing.

The policy work is part of the project

Cancellation windows, rescheduling, deposits, refunds and late arrivals should be decided before customers can book. Clear policy content is not a decorative extra — it prevents disputes and tells the tool what to do when a booking changes.

Recurring provider costs are separate

Your scheduling provider may have a free tier or a paid plan. Payment processing has its own fees. Email and SMS availability, limits and pricing depend on the provider, plan and region. Domains, hosting and any premium apps can add other recurring charges. These costs are paid directly to the providers and should be listed separately from the website build.

For the intended Built Different V1 payment workflow, PayPal Business is the planned provider. That does not set the provider's fees or guarantee approval for an account.

Testing is where the value is

A booking website is not finished when the calendar loads. Test from mobile, book each service, check time zones and buffers, confirm the calendar entry and owner notification, test a payment or deposit path, and walk through cancellation. A cheaper build that fails at one of those steps is not cheaper for long.

A useful starting point

Our Business builds start at $697 USD and are where booking or scheduling workflows commonly fit. More involved payment, e-commerce or custom workflow projects start at $1,697 USD. Those are our starting prices, not market averages; the written quote depends on your actual workflow.
